What can one say about this other than the state of our border control is disgraceful. Completely. Totally. I thought this was coming… ever since the Ramos and Compean fiasco started Border Control Agents cannot trust their own government to stand up for them… I gleaned this from a Tucson Business article [...]

President Bush said today that “If you want to scare the American people, what you say is the bill’s an amnesty bill,” Mr. Bush said this afternoon at a training center for border enforcement agents located in this town in Georgia’s southeastern corner. “That’s empty political rhetoric, trying to frighten our citizens.”

Oh well… the press has to have something to talk about while Congress is on recess. Thank goodness we won’t have Rosie to kick around any more… maybe Oprah will be next!

While I would not characterize her in the way CindySheehan did in her blog posting, I would agree that it is about time we heard the last of her. She became unhinged when her son died serving his country. A country that his mother, in her own words, does not belong to. [...]

Jerry Falwell died sometime after breakfast this morning in his Liberty University offices. May God comfort his family, friends and university staff during their time of sorrow.
While I wholeheartedly disagree with his secular agenda I am sure that the far left is going to be having a street block over this event.

What burns me up more than anything else is the talk about raising taxes and yet there is very little fiscal control over the precious dollars that we are forced to volunteer very April 15th.
Ron Elving of NPR wrote an article in January 2005 about the differences between Newt Gingrich’s “Contract With America” Congress and [...]

From yesterdays New York Times:
Until recently, the Iranians were having difficulty keeping the delicate centrifuges spinning at the tremendous speeds necessary to make nuclear fuel and were often running them empty or not at all.
Now, those roadblocks appear to have been surmounted. “We believe they pretty much have the knowledge about how to enrich,” said [...]
